Knowledge Management (KM) is defined as the analysis and technical support of practices used in an organization to identify, create, represent, distribute, conduct and enable the adoption and leveraging of good practices embedded in collaborative settings and in organizational processes. Information Sharing (IS) is data exchange, communication protocols and technological infrastructures.
Quanterion has been a recognized leader for over a decade in defining and implementing KM and IS concepts and practices through its previous day-to-day operation of the DoD Reliability Information Analysis Center (RIAC), and its current roles as the Prime Contractor for both the DoD Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center (CSIAC) and the Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC). This expertise has been leveraged and expanded into the Quanterion-operated RMQSI Knowledge Center (www.rmqsi.org) and the Web-Accessible Repository of Physics-Based Models (WARP).
Quanterion is proud to make available our NanoTech Connect website as a KM/IS-centric resource for the nanoscience, nanoengineering and nanotechnology research, academic, government, industrial and commercial communities throughout New York State, as well as the global community.
