Carolina Institute for NanoMedicine (CINM) was established in 2010 as an umbrella program to support multidisciplinary nanotechnology research among investigators from variety of backgrounds including College of Arts & Sciences, UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and UNC School of Medicine. The goal of CINM is to improve human health by enhancing the scientific knowledge as well as the transition of basic research discoveries into clinical trials.
